We’re preparing for your arrival to campus, and we hope you are, too! Please follow the steps outlined below to get ready for Check-In.
Step 1: Select Your Preferred Check-In Day & Time
Formal Check-In Day for returning upperclass students will be Friday, September 1. On this day only, students will have access to resources like campus-wide bin rentals and street closures. However, as classes do not begin until Tuesday, September 6, students may choose to arrive at any point over the long weekend.
Please log in to the Housing Portal to select your arrival date and time.
Step 2: Review the Check-In Process
See a step-by-step overview of what to expect at Check-In on our website.
Step 3: Obtain Property Insurance
The University assumes no responsibility for a resident's personal property while they live in the residence halls. We strongly recommend that students living on campus purchase property (renters) insurance on their own or ensure that they are covered by their parents’ or guardians’ property (homeowners) insurance.
Step 4: Review Check-In Resources and Timeline
In early August, we’ll send arrival instructions and tips for how to have a smooth Check-In experience. Until then, review the available Check-In resources:
