Timeline
Students who do not plan to leave early should adhere to the previously published Check-Out deadlines.
Note: students with approved extensions or who are registered for spring interim housing may be contacted with details about a temporary re-assignment.
Steps to Check-Out
- Select a Move-Out Appointment in the Housing Portal. Although not required, making a move-out appointment will help manage resources and elevator traffic.
- Follow the steps to Check-Out.
- Moving bins are available at the Hartley Lounge and Schapiro Lounge, as well as additional satellite locations next week. See rental times.
Storage and Shipping
Students who plan to leave early, but have already requested a storage or shipping vendor to access their room for a later date, should coordinate an update with the vendor and resubmit the Vendor Access Request form.
Students who still plan to arrange for vendor access to their space must submit the Vendor Access Request form as soon as possible.
Campus Access
- Students who have a parent or family member requiring access to campus to help with move out must register them as Move-Out Support.
- Special access at the Hartley-Wallach Gate will be available to facilitate early move-out. The gate is egress only. You will not be able to enter campus through this gate. See access times.
- Other access points will be open during select times to facilitate move-out.
- Streets near your building may be closed to parking on select dates.
