Important Dates for Room Selection 2022

Room Selection for the 2022-2023 Academic Year is around the corner! It's time to start thinking about your housing options for next year.

January 28, 2022

How Room Selection Works

All steps of the Room Selection process are completed online via the Housing Portal.

  1. Register for Room Selection as an individual or as part of a 2-10-person group.
  2. Get assigned a lottery number and appointment time based on class seniority.
  3. Select your room during online Room Selection.

Whether this is your first Room Selection or you’re a seasoned pro, we recommend you review the Room Selection webpages. The more you know about the process, the easier it will be to select the best living situation for your needs.

Tips for Rising Sophomores

We strongly encourage rising sophomores to form an even-numbered group for Room Selection. Forming even-numbered groups allows students to break into pairs to fill double rooms in the event that no singles are available, and also allows groups to stay together by selecting doubles that are located along the same corridor of a building. Learn more about the process for rising sophomores on our website.

Learn about Your Residence Hall Options

Use our Residence Hall Directory to learn more about each building, including a list of amenities, pictures of student rooms and communal spaces, and more.
