Moving Bins
Moving is hard work, but rental bins are available across campus to make it easier.
Rent a Moving Bin
Rental bins will be available across campus during Check-In. Rentals are complimentary for the first two hours. After that period, charges may apply. Return the bin to its rental location once you have moved your items. There are a limited number of bins available to students. Please return your bin once you have completed moving and do not begin unpacking until you have returned your bin.
Rental Locations on August 26 & August 27
Large cardboard bins will be available at all unload zones until 4:00 p.m. to help you transport your belongings to your room.
Rental Locations on August 29
Bins will be available at the following locations until 1:00 p.m. on August 29:
- 619 W. 113th Street
- Carlton Arms
- Hartley Hall Lounge
- Wien Hall
Rental Locations on September 1
Bins will be available at the following locations until 4:00 p.m. on September 1:
- Broadway Hall
- Carlton Arms
- East Campus
- Morningside Drive and W. 118th St. (EC highrise)
- W. 118th between Morningside Drive and Amsterdam Ave (EC townhouses)
- Hartley Hall Lounge
- McBain Hall
- Schapiro Hall
- Wien Hall
- Woodbridge Hall
