Check-In Station Locations
Review the list of Check-In stations for Transfer, Combined Plan, and Exchange students.
At your Check-In station, you will pick up your CUID, which will be encoded with your room and building access and function as your room key. If you live in a hard key building, you will also pick up your room key. Once you have completed Check-In, you may proceed to your room.
Please bring a government-issued photo ID to Check-In.

*Please access campus through the entry points listed below, and be prepared to show a copy of a Columbia Housing Check-In email to the Public Safety Officers stationed at the gates.
- Furnald Hall Check-In Station: Enter through the Lerner Gate at W. 115th St. and Broadway, adjacent to the Columbia Bookstore. This gate is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. After 4 p.m., enter campus through the College Walk gate at Broadway and W. 116th.
- Wien Hall Check-In Station: Enter through the Wien Hall Gate at W. 116th St. between Amsterdam and Morningside Drive. This gate is open 24/7.
