Columbia Housing recently donated 100 pieces of furniture from the John Jay Hall floor lounges to the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). This initiative, completed this past December, gave the lounge furniture a second life at a public housing location in the Bronx.
Items repurposed in this initiative include:
- 60 club chairs
- 20 dining chairs
- 10 round tables
- 10 small coffee tables
This effort continues Columbia Housing's commitment to repurposing gently used items and reducing waste during residence hall upgrades.
