Order of Registration & Group Formation Process in the Housing Portal
During Room Selection registration, students will complete the Statement of Intent before forming groups. This supports a streamlined and uninterrupted registration process for students who may still be considering a group.

All female floor to be located on the 6th floor of Broadway. Every academic year, at least one floor in the Housing portfolio is designated exclusively for female residents.
Ongoing construction: interior work is planned on a Barnard property adjacent to 47 Claremont.
Reminder from last year: sorority and SIC bed spaces must be filled before rising Barnard seniors can enter the general exchange. Twenty-five bed spaces across Columbia sorority and SIC housing are allocated to Barnard students every year to promote community and provide the opportunity to live at Columbia with friends. These spaces must be filled in order for rising Barnard seniors to enter Columbia’s general Room Selection. Learn more.
