East Campus Renovation includes Townhouses, Lobby, Building Lounge

Popular upperclass residence hall East Campus is about to be even more of a favorite once students see the townhouse renovations and community space makeovers conducted in the building during the summer break.

Lobby & Building Upgrades

The main building lobby has had a dramatic update! Complete with new flooring, lighting, ceiling treatment, furniture, and other special touches. The project included the addition of a new accessible ramp from Ancel Plaza, as well as a new entryway.

Townhouse Refresh

The East Campus project included a full refresh of all 50 townhouses, which covered all student bedrooms, plus the kitchen, common space, and bathrooms. Topped of with fresh paint, new lighting, and updated fixtures.

Building Lounge, 6th Floor Lounge, and Laundry Room

The second floor building lounge was renovated for community events, plus the 6th floor lounge was refreshed. Even the laundry room is sparkling new. The townhouses also had lighting updates and behind the scenes plumbing infastructure work conducted. 

These projects are part of the annual refresh work done for the largest building in Columbia Housing's portfolio.
