Most upperclass students may proceed directly to their room after completing online Check-In through the Housing Portal

Exceptions apply to residents of:

  • East Campus: follow arrival instructions for townhouse vs. high-rise on September 4
  • Woodbridge: follow key pick-up instructions
  • Floors 6-8 & 11-12 of 600 W. 113th St: follow key pick-up instructions

After completing online Check-In through the Housing Portal, residents of floors 6-8 and 11-12 of 600 W. 113th St must collect a hard key to access their room. 

On Friday, September 4

  • Between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., residents should proceed to Schapiro Hall to pick up their key.
  • After 4 p.m., residents should proceed to the Hospitality Desk in Furnald Hall to pick up their key.

On or After Saturday, September 5

Go to the Housing Hospitality Desk in Furnald Hall to pick up your key. 

What Happens Next

After you have picked up your key, you may proceed to your room. Remember to complete our brief survey and the Room Condition Report (RCR) before unpacking your belongings. 

On September 4

After completing online Check-In through the Housing Portal, EC residents may proceed directly to their rooms. However, residents should follow the arrival instructions outlined below:

On or After September 5

After completing online Check-In through the Housing Portal, all residents should unload at 70 Morningside Drive. The service elevator will be available at the following times:

  • September 5: 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.
  • September 6: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • September 7: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

If you plan to arrive outside of these windows, you will need to enter through the Wien Courtyard. Request B2 elevator access before you arrive to prevent delays.
