This year's Green Sale will be held on Saturday, August 31 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the EC second floor lounge.
Every fall during Check-In, the EcoReps host the Green Sale, a student-run initiative where gently-used, common household items collected from former residents are sold at a reduced price in an effort to minimize waste. This event occurs as part of the annual Give + Go Green program.
Inventory typically includes:
- Mini-fridges
- Kitchen appliances (microwaves, toasters, coffee machines, etc. NOTE: these items are permitted only in suite or apartment style hall kitchens; appliances are not allowed in bedrooms)
- Kitchen supplies (pots, pans, utensils, etc.)
- Fans (tower and desk)
- Electronics (printer, lamps, speakers, etc.)
- Books, including core class textbooks for SEAS and CC
- Clothing
Items are first-come, first-served and the sale accepts cash or Venmo. Don’t forget a reusable bag!
