Mia DeLuis Zayas

Mia DeLuis Zayas is Manager, Housing Services. She helps to manage housing assignments for undergraduate students during the academic year and guests during the summer. In this role, Mia works closely with partners across the University, including Undergraduate Student Life, Public Safety, Disability Services, and Facilities to help ensure our residents have a safe and comfortable place to call home while at Columbia. Mia officially joined Columbia Housing in 2021, but has been with our team since 2019 when she joined the team as a student worker.

Mia graduated with a B.A. from Columbia University in 2020, double-majoring in Ethnicity and Race Studies (with specialization in Latinx Studies) and Educational Studies. Currently, Mia is pursuing a M.S. in Technology Management at the School of Professional Studies graduating in August 2026. 

Mia was born and raised in Camden, NJ to proudly Puerto Rican parents. Outside of work, she loves to explore coffee shops, weight train, and make plans for her next travel destination.
