You can also view your appointment time in the Housing Portal on the "Registration Summary" step page.
During Your Appointment Time
To begin selection, log into the Housing Portal. Open your AY 2024-2025 Housing Application and press the “Enter Room Selection” button at the bottom of the page.
You will only be able to advance to Room Selection once your appointment time has started. If you log in before the start of your appointment time, refresh your browser or log out and log back in.
Once you have accessed the Selection pages, follow these steps to select a room:

- Select your View
- Option 1: Exact Match Selection Options
- Choosing this option will display only those housing options that exactly fit all the members of your group, or you as an individual.
- Option 2: Different Combinations Selection Options
- Choosing this option will present all remaining housing options so that you can consider the best fit for you or your group — whether that is choosing a space that fits everyone, or selecting various options to accommodate all group members.
- Select Your Building(s)
- Book Room(s)
- Select bed(s) within room
- Select “Assign Room(s)” to continue
- You have a set amount of time to make your selection, during which a timer will display on the screen. While you are confirming your choice, the room(s) you have selected will be unavailable to others. Once the timer runs out, the room is released, and you will be directed back to step three to select your room.
- Confirm Selection
- Make sure to hit “Save and Continue”
- Sign the Occupancy Agreement
- Housing is not confirmed until you and each group member signs the Occupancy Agreement
Individual participants or the Group Leader have from the start of their appointment time through the end of Room Selection to pick a room. Room Selection closes on April 17 at 5:00 p.m. or when there is no longer available inventory.
Live Updates
Use our real-time Room Selection viewer for an up-to-date listing of available rooms. The live viewer will be available on Friday, March 22 at 12:00 p.m.
New this year: Additional rooms within FSL and SIC housing may be available for general selection. Check the live viewer before your appointment to view inventory.
Tips for Your Appointment Time
- Use a second browser tab to open floor plans on the Housing website so you don’t accidentally click out of the Portal.
- Be careful when selecting into EC Townhouse as they are split-level; rooms within the same townhouse will display across multiple floor plans.
