Graduating seniors were notified that their Housing status will change upon the completion of their academic requirements at the end of the fall semester. Graduating seniors are not eligible for housing during winter break or the Spring 2023 semester and must Check-Out of their fall assignment. The following list provides helpful steps for move out.
- Cancel your Housing assignment by December 6 to avoid charges for Spring 2023. To cancel, log into the Housing Portal and complete the Cancellation step on the AY 22-23 Application.
- The Fall Check-Out deadline is Friday, December 23 by 12pm.
- Please Check-Out online via the Housing Portal. You do not need to turn in your Columbia University ID card.
- Hartley and Woodbridge residents with non-electronic room access must return their keys to the Hospitality Desk prior to online check-out.
Students who are no longer graduating should email [email protected] and the Office of Registrar to notify our teams of their changed status.
