Check-Out for Students Who Are Not Returning for Spring Semester
You are required to check out of Columbia Housing within 24 hours of your last exam, or by 12:00 p.m. noon on December 22, whichever is sooner, if you are:
- a senior graduating in February
- studying abroad in the spring
- taking any type of leave
- or are not returning for another reason
Check-Out will be completed online through the Housing Portal. More information about Check-Out will be communicated in December.
Students who not are returning for spring semester are not eligible to live in Columbia Housing over winter break.
Students Who Are Returning for Spring Semester
If you plan to continue living in Columbia Housing in the spring semester, you are eligible to remain in-residence over Winter Break. You are not required to check out at the end of fall semester.
