Housing Application Timeline & Process
- November 15: Deadline to submit your Housing Application through the Housing Portal. If you do not apply for Housing, you will not be considered for a room assignment. A housing application is required even if you intend to live in fraternity or sorority housing or in a Special Interest Community (applicable for returning upperclass students only).
- December 21: Receive notification of your application status. This communication will confirm or deny your request for on-campus housing. See the following section to understand how your housing status may impact your application.
- January 6: Receive your room assignment if you are approved for on-campus housing.
- January 11-12: Check-In at the Hartley Hospitality Desk in Hartley Hall between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. More information about Check-In will be provided if you are given a housing assignment.
- January 11: Visiting and Exchange Students
- January 12: Returning upperclass students
Your Housing Status
Some students may be guaranteed on-campus housing depending on their status. Please read carefully to determine whether you are guaranteed or non-guaranteed.
- Exchange students: You are guaranteed housing and will receive an assignment for Spring Term 2023.
- Visiting students: You are not guaranteed housing and may not receive an assignment for Spring Term 2023. Your application for on-campus housing will be considered and approved if space permits. You will receive notice in December.
- Returning upperclass students: Your status may vary. If you lived on-campus consecutively until your study abroad, you are likely guaranteed housing. You must reapply for Spring Term 2023 housing to maintain your guaranteed status. If you moved off-campus or took a voluntary leave prior to study abroad, you may be non-guaranteed. To confirm your status, please email [email protected].
